WHISTLEBLOWING POLICY

DSGN is committed to upholding high standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct, in line with good corporate governance practices. This Whistleblowing Policy provides a clear framework for raising concerns responsibly and ensures protection for those acting in good faith.

Our Commitment to Integrity, Fairness, and Accountability

Whistleblowing is the voluntary act of reporting to DSGN Malaysia’s Management any suspected improper conduct that has been committed, is ongoing, or is likely to be committed by an employee of DSGN Malaysia, for the purpose of appropriate action.

This policy is intended to:

  • Encourage and enable individuals to raise serious concerns rather than overlooking a problem;
  • Ensure that all individuals feel confident in raising serious concerns;
  • Provide clear and appropriate avenues for reporting concerns and receiving feedback on any actions taken;
  • Offer a structured response to concerns and guidance on further steps if the outcome is unsatisfactory;
  • Reassure individuals that they will be protected from retaliation or victimization if they make a disclosure in good faith and with reasonable belief;
  • Maintain confidentiality by restricting disclosure to relevant parties only.

Disclosure

To ensure protection under this policy, whistleblowers are encouraged to disclose their name and contact details to facilitate a more efficient and thorough investigation. All disclosures will be handled with strict confidentiality, and whistleblowers will be protected under this policy.

Where possible, disclosures should include:

  • Details of the person(s) involved.
  • Nature of the allegation.
  • Date, time, and location of the incident.
  • Supporting evidence and/or relevant documents.
  • Identity of any witnesses.
  • Any additional information that may facilitate the investigation.

Complete protection will be given to the whistleblower against any unfair practices including, but not limited to: retaliation, threat, intimidation, termination or suspension of service, disciplinary action, transfer, demotion, refusal of promotion, or any direct or indirect use of authority that may obstruct the whistleblower’s right to perform their duties or make further disclosures. DSGN is committed to maintaining a safe, confidential, and non-retaliatory reporting environment.

If a disclosure falls outside the scope of this Whistleblowing Policy (e.g., personal grievances, performance-related matters), DSGN reserves the right to redirect the disclosure to the appropriate grievance or resolution channels.
